1. Who we are
SwiftMarket (swiftmarket.co.ke) is operated by iServu Digital Connect Ltd, a company registered in Kenya (“we”, “us”). By using SwiftMarket you agree to these terms.
2. What SwiftMarket does
SwiftMarket is a place for people to list items and services, find each other and chat. We are not a party to any sale. We do not own, inspect, store, deliver or guarantee the items listed, and we do not receive, hold or transfer payment for them. Buyers and sellers agree on price, meeting place and payment directly between themselves, and are responsible for their own deals.
3. Your account
You must be at least 18, give accurate details and keep your sign-in codes private. One person, one account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
4. Listing rules
Only list things you own or are allowed to sell, describe them honestly, use your own photos and set a real price. Do not list anything illegal in Kenya, including weapons, drugs, stolen goods, counterfeit products, wildlife products, prescription medicines, or adult services. We may remove listings or suspend accounts that break these rules, mislead buyers or are reported as scams.
5. Chats, ratings and conduct
Be respectful. Do not harass, spam, or ask for money before a buyer has seen the item. Ratings can only be left after both people confirm a deal and must be honest. We may read reported conversations to keep the platform safe.
6. Safety
Meet in a busy public place, check the item before paying, and never send deposits, transport fees or sign-in codes to anyone. SwiftMarket will never ask you to pay a seller through us.
7. Paid features
We offer paid extras such as boosting a listing. Prices are shown before you pay, payment is by M-Pesa, and the money goes to iServu Digital Connect Ltd as payment for that service (it is never held for anyone else). A boost starts as soon as M-Pesa confirms your payment. If a boost doesn't run because of a fault on our side, we'll refund you or run it again. Boosts aren't refundable if the listing breaks these terms and is removed, or once the boost has run.
8. Liability
SwiftMarket is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from deals between users, from items listed, or from users' conduct. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or other Kenyan law.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will show the date of the latest version here. Questions or complaints: support@swiftmarket.co.ke. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
